The purpose of fasting is to lead us into deeper intimacy with, and dependence upon, the Lord.  The Lord invites all of us to His table, offering His children a bountiful feast to nourish us as He transforms our fleshly appetites and cravings into a deep hunger and thirst for His righteousness.  May all your questions and concerns be answered as you pray and seek the Lord to lead you into a deeper more intimate relationship with Him.  May this little guide remove the misconceptions and fears you have with fasting as you experience the Lord as Sustainer and Provider in a way you could never have imagined before coming to His table.
